ÁGORA BEGINS A NEW CYCLE
Mexico City, March 2024.
After seven incredible years, great projects and a lot of learning, ÁGORA is now ending one cycle to begin a new one. Jimena González-Sicilia Ibarrola, co-founding partner of ÁGORA, has decided to continue her professional career independently.
We are very grateful for all the experiences that these years have given us and for all the passion, dedication and work that laid the foundations for ÁGORA.
LA CARMELA CULTURAL CENTER
IS NOMINATED FOR THE MIES CROWN HALL AMERICAS PRIZE FOR EMERGING PRACTICES

The La Carmela Cultural Center, a project developed by ÁGORA in the city of Puebla as part of the SEDATU Urban Improvement Program, has been nominated for consideration for the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize for Emerging Practices (MCHAP.emerge Cycle 5). ÁGORA PRESENT AT THE XVIII NATIONAL CONGRESS OF ARCHITECTS IN PERU

ÁGORA was part of the panel of speakers at the XVIII National Congress of Architects, held in the city of Huancayo from November 16 to 19, 2023, with the keynote lecture "Building a city at any scale" given by our associate, Arq. MSUM. Ana Isabel Ruiz Remolina. Among the speakers were José Cubillas (Paraguay), Mínimo Común (Paraguay), Carlos Pastor Santa María (Peru), Martha Maccaglia (Italy/Peru), Al Borde (Ecuador) and Carlos Vega Palomino (Peru), among others. We thank the College of Architects of Peru for this invitation, and the Peruvian office Del Lugar for their involvement in making this possible.
ÁGORA WINS AWARD AT THE ARCHITECTURE BIENNIAL IN MEXICO CITY

ÁGORA was awarded a silver medal in the restoration category as part of the VI Mexico City Architecture Biennial, for the La Carmela Cultural Center project, located in the city of Puebla, Puebla, which is part of the actions of the SEDATU Urban Improvement Program.
ÁGORA RECEIVES THE CAM-SAM AWARD "Carlos Contreras Pagés, Urban Development Projects and Landscape Architecture".

On September 30, 2022, the CAM-SAM Awards ceremony was held, where ÁGORA was awarded the "Carlos Contreras Pagés, Urban Development Projects and Landscape Architecture" award for its professional merit. On behalf of the entire team that makes up our office, we express our deep gratitude for this distinction.
AGORA PRESENT IN "SOCIAL ARCHITECTURE"

During the month of August and until September 3 of this year, the exhibition "Social Architecture" will be held at ESPACIO CDMX under the initiative of SEDATU and Design Week Mexico, to publicize the various urban projects that during the last 3 years have been promoted by the federal agency through the Urban Improvement Program, where ÁGORA has had the opportunity to participate by developing various projects in the municipality of Puebla, Puebla.

During the month of July, the participation process for the development of the Plazuela Obregón remodeling project began, where various actors from the city and the Culiacan community in general have enthusiastically contributed to defining a collective vision for the most emblematic public space in Culiacán.
