Ana Isabel Ruiz Remolina

She is an architect who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of UNAM (2006) with a master's degree in Urban Management in developing countries from the Technical University of Berlin (2011).

She is co-founder and collaborator of ÁGORA. Her professional experience focuses on the development of urban-architectural projects, as well as the coordination, development and implementation of urban and regional planning methodologies and strategies, with special emphasis on public space.

She has worked in the private sector in the development and execution of residential and housing projects. She was also Executive Director of Projects for the Public Space Authority of the Government of Mexico City (AEP), participating in the coordination and development of various projects and programs for the rescue, regeneration and/or consolidation of public spaces in Mexico City at different levels.

He has taught architecture courses at different universities in Mexico. He has collaborated on international projects on urban regeneration and informal human settlements in Egypt (GIZ - TU Berlin – GTZ – Egypt 2010), Chile (Chanco – Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 2011) and Brazil (Escola da Cidade 2012).

He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM.

Sergio Carlos Soto Cisneros

He is an architect from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (2003) with a master's degree in Urban and Territorial Development for cities in developing countries from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain (2010).

He is co-founder and collaborator of Ágora, and has solid professional experience in the field of architecture and urban planning, both in the private sector and in non-governmental organizations and in the public sector.

He was Project Manager at Nexity, a company specializing in public space and sustainable mobility projects. He also worked at the Public Space Authority as Deputy Director of Urban Image, where he coordinated the development of various guidelines for the design of public space, as well as the Strategy for the Integration and Modernization of the Urban Image of Mexico City.

He also served as Project Coordinator for the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Urban Development of Baja California. He has also collaborated with various architectural firms and civil society organizations, such as the public art initiative InSite Tijuana-San Diego, which has become the most important in the American continent.

He has also served as a special advisor for the development of the 2025 Agenda for Public Space and Public Life in Mexican Cities.
