Xoco Health Clinic
Xoco, Ciudad de Mexico (2024)

The project for the Xoco Health Center consists of the reconstruction of the facilities on the same property where it is currently located, seeking to optimize the area, offer better conditions and provide more areas for correct medical care, this with the objective of qualifying said equipment. as a Category T1 Health Center.

The property has a front facade 7.30 meters wide where the main access is located. The architectural program is organized based on a linear configuration around three patios, with a central circulation that allows the space to be distributed in a modular way, interspersing the physiognomic spaces with three exterior patios, dividing the property into two bays and three different floors.

The north bay, where the medical offices are located, and the south bay, where support spaces, vertical circulations and service areas for the health center are located. This allows optimizing the living area by grouping circulations, offering naturally ventilated individual spaces, in addition to providing waiting and contemplation spaces outside and avoiding the concentration of people in a single space.

The exterior patios provide ventilation and natural lighting to each of the interior spaces independently, and generate an extension of the waiting areas, avoiding the concentration of people in a single point.
