The project consisted of a comprehensive recovery of the Marco Antonio Villela Lizarraga sports field, located in Colonia Urias, south of the city of Mazatlan, in order to convert it into a space intended not only for the practice of baseball, but also meeting place for the community, offering a variety of sports, social and leisure activities for everyone. ​

 

The pre-existing program was maintained with the rehabilitation of the baseball field, the reconstruction of the stands and dugouts, as well as the exterior renovation and expansion of the community development center.  ​ Additionally, new sports and recreational spaces were incorporated, such as a new covered multipurpose field, an exercise area, a children's play area, a jogging track, a social gathering area, a batting practice area, and landscaping throughout the complex.
