Flores Magon public spaces
Mazatlan, Sinaloa (2023)
Comprehensive rehabilitation project of public space and use of urban remnants to create a complex with the character of a neighborhood center, reinforcing an incipient urban centrality and articulating various existing facilities in the immediate environment: public market, kindergarten, public school, church and sports unit.
The two main components of the complex are the Flores Magon park, which was completely rebuilt, and the skate park, designed on vacant land. These two spaces are articulated through a set of pedestrian traffic and residential squares that face the homes and the existing public market, as well as with an urban intervention on the Antonio Lopez Sainz road.
