Hyatt Zilara outdoor areas
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco (2021)

The proposal includes the design of various outdoor spaces around the main building of the Hyatt Zilara hotel, such as the road and main access/motor lobby, a pedestrian walkway, swimming pool, spa, sky bar and access to villas and restaurant.

The main objective is to accentuate the emblematic vegetation of the site and turn them into milestones of the user experience, incorporating the same vegetation that already exists, and generating the intention that it invades the architecture and is introduced into the buildings. Various simple geometric gestures on the natural topography, such as a groove or an overhang, and forceful geometries, such as a ring on the topography that accommodates the engine lobby, are part of the exterior built elements.

The pool area is understood as a worked topography, giving an idea of deconstruction of the jungle that forms stepped platforms with rooms under the concept of "pool lounge".
