Mexico 83 Park
Puebla, Puebla (2021)
Within the limits of the México 83 neighborhood, located north of the city of Puebla, is the neighborhood park of the same name, which has an area of 2,933.49 m2. It is the only green area present in the neighborhood, with a strategic location a few meters from two public schools, as well as a main road (Av. Alfredo Toxqui).
The design premises of the park are given by the space's vocation to reinforce it as a neighborhood park, the characteristics of its linear configuration, and the need to maintain a green and permeable space as much as possible, since it is located in a very impermeable area. with a great lack of spaces for connecting people with nature, and is the beginning of a natural channel that joins downstream to a major tributary of the San Francisco River.
In addition, it is intended to reinterpret the use of mud brick so characteristic of the city, using it in different configurations and finishes in pavements, generating a richness in materiality and textures, in harmony with the natural landscape and the rest of the elements.
